What we call "stress" is really a biochemical reaction involving
the production of cortisol by the adrenal gland. Some experts believe that
stress is a contributing factor in 80% of all major illnesses and that stress
is the major reason for 75% of all doctors' visits. Stress costs American

There are many ways in which to release stress both extrinsic and intrinsic. Some of the extrinsic ways are running, jogging, weight training, boxing, kickboxing and so on. Stress relief also can come from more introspective choices as well, such as a dip in a hot tub, a sit in the sauna, some deep breathing or meditation or even a massage.
